As triathletes, we swim, we bike, we run...

 

At Tri Chi Fitness, we also add Tai Chi / Qigong training.

 

By adding Tai Chi to your triathlon training, we integrate the ancient Chinese practice of “meditation in motion”, which is famous for its many health benefits, such as, reducing stress, increasing resilience, improving proprioception and overall wellbeing. If you have seen T’ai Chi practiced, you probably think of it as nothing more than a choreographed set of slow motion exercises, which is how many people learn and practice it. Yet, for those lucky enough to learn it with Qigong/Fa-Jing (energy-building) intricacies, it becomes an extraordinary form of self-defense that builds vitality and promotes longevity.

 

In short, Tai Chi adds many skills and benefits that are complimentary to swimming, cycling and running and in life.
